Oh, #Satisfactory landed HIGHLY experimental dedicated servers in experimental. https://satisfactory.fandom.com/wiki/Dedicated_servers#Linux describes how to set on up. They even provided a systemd service file (that I’ll probably refine later). Didn’t play with this yet but this looks promising. The pattern is basically known for Unity games đ€·

A new build landed in experimental of #Satisfactory featuring a new engine version with Vulkan render. That’s of interest for me on Linux PC because I hope to gain some extra frames since the need to translate DX to Vulkan is void. It also suggest to backup the old save files just in case but figuring out the path to the saves isn’t very straight forward. Here it is for me:
/drive_d/games/steamapps/compatdata/526870/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/FactoryGame/Saved
The number 526870
is the App ID on Steam. Depending where your library (steamapps) is you can work from here. Ymmv.
