Mediaeval Mythbusting Blog #13: Ship Timbers by James Wright (triskeleheritage.triskelepublishing.com)
On visiting timber-framed public houses the story that the building’s timbers were re-used from a ship will frequently crop up. Such claims are made at the White Horse, Sibton (Suffolk) and the Green Man, Hurst (Berkshire). At the Ship Inn, Southfleet (Kent) the buil...

Rather interesting article on the myth of reused ship timbers: https://triskeleheritage.triskelepublishing.com/mediaeval-mythbusting-blog-13-ship-timbers/

Bluetooth HiFi unter Linux by Commander1024 – A Network Engineer's lifeCommander1024 – A Network Engineer's life (Commander1024)
PipeWire and fixing the Linux Video Capture stack | Christian F.K. Schaller (blogs.gnome.org)

Some great insight on – found while trying to find out what causes audio crackling and high CPU load. It may be a bug but I still think I’m doing something wrong here.

Also very curious about the V4L2 proposals. That is a very important daily driver of mine. Especially the loopback device. Any improvements on this are in theory great.

Say Cheese?

Spitfire Controller,Spitfire Controller – OKdo (OKdo)
Remembering complicated keyboard commands whilst playing a game is a real pain, especially when there are lots of controls like in FlightGear’s Spitfire,Remembering complicated keyboard commands whilst playing a game is a real pain, especially when there are lots of controls like in FlightGear’s Spitfire simulator. That’s why we built a custom control panel with real switches and buttons to make the in-flight experience much more realistic. Although this control panel was built specifically for this Spitfire

Another interesting button box because it uses not only an Arduino but also an MCP23017 I/O expander to get more switches connected: https://www.okdo.com/project/spitfire-controller/.

Should also just work with a Teensy too.

…and it also show cases 😀
