So this is the “smart” part of a meter. The DVH4013 returns the date (also time) as octet and I wonder why it makes me jump so many hoops compared to (e.g.) an EM228X *sigh. It’s not wrong but… uncomfortable.

@tudorfoodrecipe I fail to make my point. Blaming the language barrier. Here, I let it sink some days:
https://google.com/search?q=Brigitte+Webster+tudorfoodrecipe+elderflower+wine
See, even with your name, handle and exact wording I get _zero_ results on any of your profiles. No match. Even less without your name. Silos at work.
This sssssucks.
This is all I ever wanted to know about #modbus in one handy PDF by Peter Chipkin:
https://www.chipkin.com/files/liz/MODBUS_2010Nov12.pdf
No idea who you are (beside president of Chipkin) but you’re awesome, Peter 🍻
Haha, hilarious. You have the most amazing mix of topics all the time. Love the Linux considerations on tech stuff every time 👌
I can not think of any reasons to watch inside a sink thought. Why do you do this? Are there no maintenance hatches?
Illustration und Design
Serious awesome character designs. Note to self: If I ever look for an artist for e.g. an avatar this will probably be my first stop:
Es stimmt schon. Der Überblick ist zu Beginn schwer zu bekommen. Das ist auch einem Stück weit der Modularität geschuldet.
Dein Privacy Alert kommt von Avataren aus Twitter Reaktionen. Die werden (noch?) nicht gecached. Unschön und ein größeres Thema.
An der Gutenberg Front wird noch geschraubt. Es geht wenn man erst den neuen Editor nimmt und den Feinschliff dann im Classic erledigt.
My CO2 footprinting app in its current state allows me to model the things I do everyday and annotate my “events” with emitted CO2.
Hey internet! So, someone broke into some of my accounts.
Interesting story how some mistakes led to a compromised Google account despite 2FA:

“Releases for PC”. Oh we Linux gamers know this phrase well. So it seems that #GamingOnLinux is taking another approach now instead of the usual “PC is not Windows”. Liam changed the wording on the news slightly:

I like that approach and I shall also use “Linux PC” in the future. And not just #Linux for my #LinuxGaming.
