I like windmills. Grew up with one nearby and have always seen them as a sign for environment friendly and futuristic tech. Totally enjoyed the scenery when I lived up there for a brief time.
While driving up north we pass through The Netherland’s newest province Flevoland. Totally flat so it is the most logical place to have windmills. Lots of them. Others hate the sight of them, but I find them beautiful landmarks of the transition we’re making.
